Call for abstracts & papers
The aim of the European Association for the Study of Gambling (EASG) is to increase the dialogue between all who are professionally involved in commercial gambling. This includes governments or governmental bodies, the gambling industry, those who have made gambling a subject of scientific study and those who are working in the treatment field, experts by experience and other interested public. Our conference brings together experts from all over the world and from a wide variety of disciplines.
Authors wishing to present a paper during the course of the conference must submit in advance, as a requirement for acceptance, a summary or abstract of the proposed content with a maximum extension of 250 words, setting out the general interest of the paper for the participants at the conference and describing the content of the presentation.
Abstracts may be submitted until 1 June 2026.
However, due to the expected huge attendance and willingness to present, early submissions are encouraged.
The abstracts will be considered by the organising committee in three phases:
Process of gathering abstracts
Abstracts that are submitted before 1 January 2026 will be considered before 1 February 2026. The applicants will be informed on the results so that they can take advantage of the super early registration discount when they transfer the registration fee before 1 April 2026.
Phase 1
Until 1 January 2026
Abstracts that are submitted between 1 January and 1 March 2026 will be considered before 1 April 2026 and the applicants will be informed on the result so that they can take advantage of the discount by paying the registration fee before 1 June 2026.
Phase 2
1 January until 1 March 2026
All other abstracts will be considered on an ongoing basis from April to June 2026 and the applicants will be informed as soon as possible.
